SAP于今年1月14日在上海张江成立了一个研究中心(SAP Research Center)。
由美国research center直接管理。现招收实习生（博士或硕士）进行一些前沿课题的研究
。
现在的主要方向有：
- Service computing (multi-tenancy support at DB and application layer, SLA
monitoring and optimization)
- DBMS (stream DBMS, XML DBMS, data warehouse/integration)
- System scalability and multi-tenancy support, workflow, business
intelligence (data correlation and mining)
- Application server, UI, and vertical applications(Green technology, Export
& trade logistics, Food chain monitoring)
- Programming langauge design and implementation
实习时间要求6个月以上。

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Research is the corporate research organization of SAP,
significantly contributing to SAPs product portfolio by
identifying breakthrough innovation and conducting
co-innovation with external partners and customers. SAP
Research acts as SAPs IT trend scout, identifying emerging IT
trends, researching and developing in strategically important
SAP business areas, and leveraging entrepreneurial inventive
talent.
SAP Research Center, China will work very closely with SAP
Research Center, Palo Alto, CA to jointly conduct research
projects. Their mission is to Use Practical Research to develop
new applications and system technologies for enterprise
software in the 21st Century. We are currently looking for
experienced, efficient and agile software researchers and
developers who meet the qualifications specified below.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Technical skills
Developed good research track record in at least one of the following areas: s
ervice computing (multi-tenancy support at DB and application layer, SLA monit
oring and optimization), DBMS (stream DBMS, XML DBMS, data warehouse/integrati
on), system scalability and multi-tenancy support, workflow, business intellig
ence (data correlation and mining), application server, UI, and vertical appli
cations (Green technology, Export & trade logistics, Food chain monitoring). D
emonstrated innovation (Out-of-the box thinking) in research or project develo
pment. Good communication (verbal and writing) skill in English.
- Education
Ph.D. or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (e.g.,
information science or engineering, applied mathematics)
