An opportunity to join a small but experienced New Zealand owned, Shanghai based consultancy firm, specializing in assisting NZ and foreign clients with China entry strategy, setup, mergers & acquisitions across a wide range of businesses and industries. This would be initially considered as an internship with the potential of leading to a fulltime position.
A successful person will exhibit the following qualities:
-Commercially minded, self motivated, mature and well rounded individual
-Able to work proactively"can-do" attitude towards researching a wide range of markets or industries.
-Native Chinese speaker with excellent spoken English and report writing in English. Able to confidently communicate with senior foreign clients if required.
-Some financial, accounting, legal qualifications or similar work experience would be very beneficial.
-University qualifications mandatory; aged 25-30.
-Active experience in dealing with PRC government bureaus would be a distinct advantage.
-Very flexible to a broad range of company work assignments and needs.

A range of experience and levels of seniority will be considered. This role would be perfect for a returning Chinese student looking for a broad range of experience and dealing with foreign clients. Or an individual looking to leave a large corporate or big 4 looking for a real challenge to learn and work with personable and flexible management.
