Description: conduct research and development related to voice call continuity, which is a critical feature for the upcoming Fixed/Mobile Converged 3G IMS networks. This position requires the candidate:
(1) Familiar with IEEE802.16/11 series standards (version d/e/j/m), experience in WiMAX/WIFI related project is preferred;
(2) Project experience with MATLAB or OPNET simulation tools in recent 2 years is a must;
(3) Knowledge on UMTS and IMS/SIP is a plus.
(4) Experience for cross-layer design and scheduling is a plus

Description: conduct research and development related to audio/video transcoding, which is essential for interconnecting web-based multimedia application with traditional telecom applications. This position requires the candidate:
(1) Familiar with audio codecs such G.711(a-law and u-law), AAC, MP3;
(2) Familiar with video codecs such as H.263, H.264/MPEG4;
(3) Project experience of media transcoding using FFMPEG is preferred;
(4) Experience of JMF(Java Media Framework) programming is a plus
