Software Engineer (Intern)

Job Title: Software Engineer (Intern)
Department: AMD China Engineering Lab
Location: Beijing, China

The interns will assist CEL solution manager to test, optimize software solut
ions
On AMD platform, support OEM/ISV partners to develop application with AMD new
technology and products.

As a candidate to this position, you must be highly motivated to complete tas
k and solve issues on a timely basis. You must also be willing to learn, pass
ionate to technology and ethical to high integrity.

Responsibilities:

?Test and optimize software solutions on AMD platform
?Setup solution demo in lab and perform daily administration
?Provide consulting of solution architecture, features and technical details
?Support OEM/ISVs to develop application with AMD new technology

Skills/Qualifications:
?Major in Computer Sciences, Software, Information System
?Programming skills with C/C , Java, Assembly language
?In-depth knowledge of PC and server architecture, Windows/Linux OS
?Good knowledge of software development processes and method
?Muti-media application experience preferred, such as MP3, wma, Mp4, AMR etc
?Fluent verbal and written English
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

1: Linux and CE tuning
2: C and Assemble language programming
3: fluent English
4: C is preferable


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

1: Tune Linux and WinCE on x86 platform.
2: Develop applications for Linux and WinCE on x86 platform.
3: Build footprint of Linux and CE for RDK.
4: Validate RDK software.
5: Write documents
