实习职位： Data Analyst (Internship)
项目组: Project Office, Process & Quality.
工作地点: 北京上地软件园
直接汇报: Software Process Manager.
实习时间: 每周至少4天，现在至09年毕业前
Reuters Technology (China) Limited is looking for a person to fill the position of Project Coordinator. We are looking for a graduate student who major is Statistics, coupled with good experience in Microsoft Excel or other statistical report tools. The role requires the individual to collect and analyze software R&D metrics data from various parties in the organization, and report them in various manners to senior management. Reuters will provide good career development plan for the selected intern. www.inntu.com
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Will get master/bachelor degree of Statistics in 2009.
-Good statistical knowledge on various distributions and their application criteria.
-Ability of establishing process baselines using historical data and appropriate distribution. Being capable of regression analysis. Monte Carlo simulation knowledge is a plus.
-Experience in commercial statistical tools, e.g., MS Excel, SPSS, etc
-Good spoken and written English.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Likes working with numbers and graphs.
-Be able to work at least 4 full time working day each week;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Collect and analyses project, non-project and staff measurements from software development teams and project timesheets.
-Create process performance models and baselines according to eligible statistical process control techniques.
-Prepare regular reports of metrics to senior management.
-Provide daily administration support to Process & Quality team.
